This contract aimed to modernize the Foothill Village shopping center in Salt Lake City, UT. The showpiece of the project is a new plaza, grand staircase, and tenant spaces, which required the demolition of the former Stein Mart building. This intensive process began with shoring and careful consideration during demolition. Additionally, each store in the mall received new facade storefronts. Construction took place while stores were open, which required the safest practices and constant communication with the owners, tenants, and shoppers. Special to Zwick, Foothill Village was originally built by the company over 50 years ago.
