Bountiful, UT: Bountiful Utah Temple Remodel & Updates

OWNER: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

ARCHITECT: GSBS Architects

This project involved the removal of the entire cladding system on the tower and penthouse. The renovation helped to correct extensive water penetration issues and warping of the exterior fiberglass panels that had failed. The fiberglass panels were replaced with a thin stone cladding system that matched the rest of the building finishes. The shaped fiberglass pieces were removed, refinished, and reinstalled. A new steel window system was installed to replace the wood windows, using the original art glass.

Since the temple was in operation for the entire project, care was taken to not impact the patron experience. The site construction footprint was minimal to not impact the visual experience for those visiting the temple.

The on-site superintendent worked closely with the building staff to create a cohesive work flow that allowed the project to move forward without undermining guests’ experiences.

Guided by our core values, Zwick Construction delivers impressive projects of all kinds in many industries.
