ASUNCION, PARAGUAY: ASUNCION PARAGUAY TEMPLE REMODEL & RENOVATION

OWNER: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

SIZE: Confidential

In 2019, Zwick Construction delivered the The Asunción Paraguay Temple, following a 24-month shutdown for substantial remodeling and upgrades. It is located near the center of Asunción in the Mariscal López neighborhood on the corner of Avenida España and Avenida Brasilia—a major city thoroughfare. Part of the temple doubles as a meetinghouse, which was constructed as an addition to a former residential mansion and is known locally as Capilla Moroni. Zwick Construction managed this project with teams of our on-site personnel, who lived in country for the duration of the contract.

The contract included the demolition of most interior finishes, down to structural elements. It also included a new roofing system, new landscaping, upgraded MEP, and the installation of new millwork and interior finishes.
