Three days – 46 panels tilted.
The Salt Lake City team working on Lewis Landing Industrial Park in Lehi, UT tilted 46 concrete panels in just under three days, a process which required intensive coordination and teamwork from both Suntec Concrete and our personnel.
In order to install these massive panels (weighing between 75,000 to 200,000 pounds), a crane lifted the panel to the respective area, where around ten individuals guided the panel to the exact position. Once the panels were placed there, the teams temporarily stabilized the panel using a pole that connects both to the panel and the footings, securing it from falling backward or forward. In coming days, Suntec will weld the panels together prior to the roof installation.
