Our healthcare business unit recently delivered phase one of three at the Intermountain Healthcare Southwest Orthopedic Urgent Care clinic at the St. George Regional Hospital. Congratulations to the team on this exciting delivery!
According to Intermountain Healthcare, “In an effort to reduce unnecessary doctor visits and help patients receive specialized care,” the group decided to open their first orthopedic urgent care clinic. They hired Zwick Construction to complete this build-out.
At the start of the project, our team demolished the existing clinic and began phase one, which primarily includes a call center, offices, and an x-ray machine.
With this phase complete, the team is moving to phase two, which will include exam rooms, a kitchen, and team areas.
Since this clinic is located within the operating hospital, the project team has been extremely mindful of patient experience, managing noise levels, dust, and material deliveries. They have worked closely with the patient care staff to ensure that patients and staff are safe during all phases of construction.
Thanks to the team for their work on this important project.
