In an effort to reduce unnecessary doctor visits and help patients receive specialized care, Intermountain Healthcare decided to open their first orthopedic urgent care clinic, and hired Zwick Construction to complete this build-out.

At the start of the project, our team demolished the existing clinic and began phase one, which primarily includes a call center, offices, and an x-ray machine. Once completed, the team moved to phase two, which includes exam rooms, a kitchen, and team areas.

Since this clinic is located within the operating hospital, the project team has been extremely mindful of patient experience, managing noise levels, dust, and material deliveries. They have worked closely with the patient care staff to ensure that patients and staff are safe during all phases of construction.
