The Core Value Award is Zwick Construction’s most prestigious award, given to one employee per year who exemplifies passion, integrity, and teamwork. We are excited to announce that Netza Salinas was selected the recipient of the 2021 Core Value Award.
Netza has been at Zwick for the last six years. During that time, he has filled many roles and worked on unique projects. He began his time working on the University of Utah Alumni House and Bountiful Utah Temple, then moved down to Paraguay to work on the Asuncion Temple. When that project was completed, he moved to San Jose, CA, to work on 7Empire.
As demonstrated by his past experience, Netza is very passionate about construction. He has made significant sacrifices for his projects and teams. For example, when Netza first applied to work at Zwick Construction, he was living in Rexburg, ID. He spent his last $100 to take a bus and train to Salt Lake City to meet with Darin. Netza frequently looks for ways to improve and learn more about construction.
Darin Zwick praised Netza’s commitment to teamwork, “Netza has been selfless in supporting our projects—he consistently supports his team, wherever he’s assigned. He understands the relationship between successful team-building and successful projects. It was exciting to see many of his peers nominate him this year [for the Core Value award].”
Because of his commitment to living our core values, Netza is very deserving of this award—congratulations, Netza!
Recipients of the Core Value Award are nominated by their peers, then ultimately selected by the Executive Committee. The award is given to acknowledge the relentless, extraordinary efforts of employees who have been at Zwick Construction for several years.
