Trade Partner Highlight: KRS Electric

With the Southern Utah University Business Building-West project accelerating forward, the Zwick Construction project team would like to highlight a firm that has gone above and beyond to complete their scope—KRS Electric. A family-owned company, KRS Electric runs by the motto “illuminating excellence while making a difference,” as they have on this important job.

Established in 2017, KRS Electric has grown over the years and integrated state-of-the-art technologies including Augmented Reality capabilities, HOLO Lens MR Goggles, and more. They have completed projects in the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.

Partly owing to their dedication to providing a positive workplace for their people, KRS Electric employs around 40 individuals and works in three states. As the team says, “We aspire to provide an environment where people can genuinely say, ‘I love to come to work because we are making this world a better place!’ This guiding principle forms the heart of our endeavors, shaping our culture and every project we undertake.”

KRS Electric has been great to work with. Their office and field team is very responsive and willing to help solve problems. I really feel that KRS Electric aligns with our core values and is a valuable trade partner.

The superintendent on the SUU project echoes the sentiment: “The team at KRS Electric are team players; the field guys are always helping other trades. The field team also will help Zwick do anything regarding layouts. If they see a problem in the field with another trade, they let us know.”
