Neighboring the Grand America Hotel, a TRAX station, and other important Salt Lake City destinations, the new 6th + Main Apartments have welcomed hundreds of residents of the community.

Completed by a Salt Lake City Zwick Construction team, this project represents teamwork and coordination. A hallmark project, 6th + Main is a beautiful addition to the surrounding downtown community.

An eight-story, 170-unit complex, 6th + Main features a business center, three-levels of podium parking, electric vehicle charging stations, leasing offices, and retail space.

Additionally, 6th + Main includes an impressive amenity deck with both heated floors and a pool. The top-floor clubroom features hydraulic opening glass doors, giving an open-air space to residents. Most residents also have a balcony within their unit. Decorated with contemporary styling, 6th + Main matches its urban surroundings.

This project sits on a tight site with property lines reaching within inches of neighboring businesses and apartments. The team worked closely with Salt Lake City to receive right-of-way permits to utilize sidewalks and busy traffic lanes on 600 South and Main Street. With little laydown area, the team also coordinated “just in time” deliveries and rented a small plot down the street to store materials until the podium was complete.

Moreover, 6th + Main neighbors power lines on 600 South. Partnering closely with Rocky Mountain Power, the team scheduled crucial times to temporarily turn off the power lines to ensure that their trade partners were safe while installing scaffolding, exteriors, windows, and more.

Guided by our core values, Zwick Construction delivers impressive projects of all kinds in many industries.
