Down in sunny St. George, UT, Zwick Construction’s @Home Best Western Hotel project has seen some exciting progress, especially over the last few weeks.

Throughout July, teams finished framing and roofing, and have nearly completed the weather barrier and underground utilities. The project passed its four-way inspection on levels one and two, and level three is set to be completed soon.

Moving forward, teams will be focusing on drywall, sitework, stucco on the exterior, and a rock retaining wall on the north end of the project.

With so many moving parts, the project team has faced a few various challenges in bringing this project to life. For example, they faced some structural coordination issues with MEP trades, which required them to work closely with their subcontracting firms and the design team.

At its completion in 2026, the @Home Best Western Hotel will feature 92 hotel suites of varying sizes. This extended stay hotel will also provide amenities to its visitors, including a “grab and go” eatery, community room, working spaces, fireplace, pool/spa, and barbecue area.

This project couldn’t have progressed so smoothly without the efforts of a talented project team. Thanks to the efforts of each individual.
