During the last week of June, Homeland Storage in Heber City, UT received its final Certificate of Occupancy and welcomed new renters. A Zwick Construction project, Homeland Storage is the second project completed for a repeat client.

Homeland Storage sits on a 3.27-acre property and features three main buildings. The first and largest is a 100,000 SF, three-story storage facility, complete with climate control systems. Adjacent to the building are two, one-story storage facilities. Finally, an office for the property managers sits at the entrance to the property. Additionally, the property features several parking stalls and gravel lots for boat/RV parking. For extra security, the property has access gates and security systems within the buildings. Designed to make the most effective use of the space, these combined buildings offer Heber residents over 700 storage units.

Speaking of design, Homeland Storage uniquely employed the expertise of a design-builder, Elevate Structure. This talented firm designed the structural system and steel framing, featuring elevated concrete slabs with integral concrete beams.

This project required a team effort from the Zwick project team, architect, owner, and each trade partner entity.

As the project manager said, “Homeland Storage was a great team effort. Our project team worked well together and with our trade partners, and nearly every trade performed well. It was a great project.”

Congratulations to each member of the project team on delivering this impressive project to our client.
