Getting an 11,000-pound electrical vault to its new home adjacent to houses and a park is no easy task. The Foothill Village Redevelopment project team was faced with this challenge in mid-February.
Through careful planning, the team employed a crane with a 210-foot reach to lift the electrical vault over those homes and a chapel, carrying the vault to its final installation spot. The entire process–including setting up and removing the crane–was completed in one day, around eight hours.

Thanks to the team and our Director of HSE for his support in overseeing all safety aspects of this craning process!
