Farewell, 2021!

Along with the year previous, 2021 presented some unique challenges for companies and contractors across the world. Even amidst those challenges, every division of Zwick Construction had an incredible year, experiencing both growth and success.

Along with the year previous, 2021 presented some unique challenges for companies and contractors across the world. Even amidst those challenges, every division of Zwick Construction had an incredible year, experiencing both growth and success.

Since January 2021, Zwick has delivered impressive projects, including Blue Phoenix, Meadow Peak Senior Care Center, several Brookfield Apartment buildings, the Bountiful Deseret First Credit Union branch, a large garden-style hospitality project, and many more.

Additionally in 2021, Zwick Construction hired many new, talented employees. This increase of personnel has led to the formation and/or expansion of various departments, including the HSE, VDC, and Payroll Departments.

With the addition of our new Director of HSE, we have implemented new safety measures. In July 2021, Zwick employees were offered KASK Helmets. Similarly, we have worked to improve our safety and training culture by using Tyfoom, holding more frequent roundtables, and attending industry trainings.

Throughout the year, Zwick employees have participated in events both inside and outside the workplace, such as summer parties, subcontractor outreach mornings, holiday parties, superintendent and project manager retreats, and golf tournaments.

In November, Karl Rasmussen was chosen as the 2021 Core Values Award recipient for his exemplary work and dedication to living our core values.

Within the next few weeks, the Irvine Office will be moving into their new office space, a beautiful office that will accommodate the expected growth of our Irvine team over the next ten years.

Moving into 2022, some exciting new projects will begin. Other projects are expected to be completed within the year.

2021 was a great year, and that was only possible through the great work completed by each Zwick Construction employee. Even in the space of one year, we have seen many employees who have exemplified passion through sacrifices made on behalf of their teams, projects, and the company—we recognize those sacrifices and are grateful for the significant contributions made by every employee.

Thanks for making 2021 a wonderful year! We hope to take the valuable lessons learned into the new year and years beyond. Best wishes to everyone for a happy and successful 2022!

Guided by our core values, Zwick Construction delivers impressive projects of all kinds in many industries.
