2020 was quite a year! Even with some unexpected challenges, each of Zwick Construction’s divisions experienced growth and success.
Throughout the year, we delivered many projects, including the Advenire Hotel, the Riverton Professional Plaza, the Dixie Detention Center, Overton Power District #5, and various higher education projects at BYU, SUU, and Dixie Technical College.
Additionally, in the year 2020, Zwick added 31 new, talented employees throughout the three offices, adding their skillsets to the strength of our teams working in five states.
One highlight of the year was being recognized by ENR Magazine for delivering the Best Municipal Project in the Nation—and overall, one of the top three projects in the nation. Earned for our performance on SLC Station No. 14, this award puts Zwick in an elite class of contractors, and has drawn the attention of several prospective national clients, subcontractors, and our industry peers.
Thanks to everyone for their passion, integrity, and teamwork, which allowed us to find solutions to the various hurdles of 2020. The challenges we faced resulted in refined processes, new perspectives, and a fundamental shift in the way we do business. As we continue to evolve and move forward into the new year, we have a very healthy backlog of projects under contract in the Salt Lake Valley, southern Utah, southern and northern California, Nevada, Arizona, and Central America. To accommodate our growth, we’re excited to announce that our Irvine, CA division will be relocating to a much larger office, upon completion later this spring.
Thanks to the entire Zwick team for making 2020 a memorable year of innovation and growth. We hope to take the valuable lessons learned into the new year and beyond. Best wishes to everyone for a happy and healthy 2021!
