Located in the art district of Japantown, San Jose, CA, Exhibit at JTown was officially delivered in October 2022 by our San Jose Zwick Construction team. This unique and complex project has become a symbol of creativity and luxurious living in the surrounding district.
Exhibit at JTown features 97 units ranging from one- to four-bedroom flats and two-story townhomes. Each unit has gourmet kitchens with quartz countertops, in-unit washer and dryers, built-in cabinets and millwork, smart WiFi thermostats, dedicated work from home spaces, glass shower doors, and oversized decks and patios. Residents have access to a workshare loft, fitness center, clubroom, fire and water sky deck, bike room, and an outdoor courtyard with fireplaces, barbecue keg dispensers, and TVs. Exhibit at JTown also features a state-of-the-art parking lift system, Zwick Construction’s first installation.
The owner of Exhibit at JTown had a unique vision to bring art and beauty to living spaces. Matching the surrounding art district, the project features full-height murals on the exterior walls and hand-painted murals and sculptures in the art garden, contributed by local artists. Adding to the beauty of the project, the front entrance houses a large, 35-foot crape myrtle tree that produces fragrant, purple flowers in the summertime.

Not only is the art impressive at the project, but the green design and construction is as well. Exhibit at JTown was recognized as LEED-Platinum, a process that requires thorough review and planning. In order for the project to qualify for LEED-certification, the project team had to track waste and recycling, install solar panels, use sustainable building products, and more.
Congratulations to the Exhibit at JTown team for delivering this project. The owner and residents celebrated a grand opening ceremony on September 9th.
