A major aspect of passion includes sacrifice on behalf of the things we find fulfillment in. Over the years, we have seen many Zwick Construction employees who exemplify passion by the sacrifices they have made for their projects, team, and the company– we recognize these sacrifices and are grateful for the significant contributions made by each employee.
While working on some of our more remote projects, such as 7Empire and the District at Civic Square, several employees from all three offices stepped up to fill needed roles, requiring them to commute substantial distances both by car and airplane. Often, these employees live near the project site during weekdays, and then return home for some weekends.
Moreover, some of our employees volunteered to permanently move to new locations to work on projects. For example, in the last 12 months, one of our superintendents moved from his home in St. George, UT to Santa Monica, CA; to Goodyear, AZ; and finally Salt Lake City, UT to support different projects. He represents just one of many employees who have been willing to relocate.
In many cases, some of our employees have taken on new responsibilities and positions to assist the project teams in delivering the most successful projects. In particular, two of our people have filled scheduling needs in Irvine, CA and St. George, UT.
These examples of passion represent just a small handful of the sacrifices and contributions made by every Zwick employee. Thank you for all you do! We recognize and appreciate the sacrifices you make daily.
