The Dixie Technical College was built on the former St. George Regional Airport. At its construction, some parts of the runway and existing asphalt remained. Because of that, the college hired Zwick Construction to remove the asphalt and replace that area with a 38-stall parking lot that would provide sufficient parking for students and staff. The team installed two duel-charging stations, along with a 1/2-mile block wall that encloses the property. After completing the parking lot, Zwick added landscaping to the surrounding property.
This project was the second that Zwick completed for the college. Yet again, the team pleased the owners by delivering a high-quality project that was completed earlier than expected.
