JAMES PEARCE

Chief People Officer

James is responsible for all people-related matters, including talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, and efforts to maintain and strengthen the Zwick culture.

Prior to joining Zwick Construction two years ago, James worked in various positions with Savage, a multinational logistics and material handling company. His responsibilities with Savage included financial planning and analysis, operational improvement, contract negotiations, and support for acquisition due diligence and subsequent acquisition integrations. In his most recent role with Savage, he served as People Solutions Director, supporting 1,400 employees across the US, Canada and Saudi Arabia.

James earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Utah. He worked as a public equities analyst before earning a Master of Business Administration from Brigham Young University. He worked at ExxonMobil as a Compensation Design Advisor and HR business partner.

James has a passion for organizational effectiveness and for designing people strategies that align with and support the business strategy. He loves building a team and culture where employees belong and can do their best work.
