DSU PERFORMING ARTS
ST. GEORGE, UT: GRAFF PERFORMING ARTS CENTER REMODEL
Owner: Dixie State University
Architect: MRW Design Associates
Contract Value: $1M
Size: 4,000 SF
Dixie State University worked with Zwick Construction to redesign their center for Performing Arts. This presented a unique challenge for Zwick because they had to demolish an existing air handler unit and build a new one in the existing space. Because of that, they had to provide temporary heating and cooling in the building above.
The new center includes practice rooms and auditoriums for performances. On the outside of the building is a large mural designed to honor the local pioneer legacy.
