This project is comprised of a six-story building that includes a leasing office, small parking garage, community room and an exercise room.
There are 68 units, including 57 one-bedroom units ranging from 480 to 670 SF; and 11 two-bedroom units of approximately 910 SF. 79% of units are LIHTC and 21% (14 units) are market rate.
Outside, the project has raised planter boxes, bike racks and public art. The upper floors provide stunning views of both downtown and the Wasatch Mountains. In compliance with RDA requirements , there is also a small commercial component to the project. It includes approximately 1,150 SF of retail space on the street level. The site is 0.57 acres and required demolition of existing structure. The property is located directly between downtown Salt Lake City and the University of Utah. It is about 200 feet from a light rail station, and is a transit-oriented development. This facility is applying for LEED certification.
